USA WEEKEND proudly sponsors Make A Difference Day with HandsOn Network, a division of Points of Light Institute. HandsOn Network maintains the DAYtaBANK of projects.

Newman’s Own is a longtime supporter. In addition to the $130,000 Newman’s Own provides to Make A Difference Day honorees, 51 efforts (one per state plus Washington, DC) will receive enough Newman’s Own cereal to feed their volunteers on the morning of Make A Difference Day.

This year, we are proud to have NBC News as a partner. Now through October, read inspirational messages from NBC anchors in USA WEEKEND Magazine and learn more about Make A Difference Day on NBC Nightly News.

Motorola Mobility Foundation developed the Make A Difference Day app and is giving away two Motorola XOOM tablets to projects that register in the DAYtaBANK and update on their success after the day.

The City Awards are co-sponsored by USA WEEKEND Magazine, Newman’s Own and the Corporation for National and Community Service.
